Emails & Notifications
Krafon sends email to keep you informed about your account, help you get the most out of the product, and let you know when something needs your attention. This page explains the kinds of email you might receive and how to control exactly what lands in your inbox.
In-app alerts (approvals needed, schedule conflicts, Autopilot drafts, and so on) live in the Notifications center at /<workspace>/notifications. See Settings → Notifications to manage those. This page is about the email Krafon sends.
Types of email Krafon sends
Krafon's emails fall into a few categories. Essential emails always send — they're tied to your account and can't be turned off. Every other category can be turned on or off individually.
Essential (always sent)
These keep your account safe and working. You can't opt out of them while you have an active account:
- Receipts & billing notices — payment receipts, failed payments, renewals, cancellations.
- Security alerts — sign-ins from a new device, important account changes.
- Sign-in links — passwordless login (magic link) emails.
- Operational notices — a connected account's token expired, or a post failed to publish.
Optional categories
You can turn any of these on or off from your email preferences:

Managing your email preferences
Every non-essential email from Krafon includes a Manage preferences and an Unsubscribe link in its footer. You don't need to be signed in to use them.
- Open any recent marketing or lifecycle email from Krafon.
- Click Manage preferences in the footer.
- The Email preferences page opens. Tick or untick each category to choose what you receive.
- Click Save preferences.
Your changes apply immediately — Krafon re-checks your preferences every time it's about to send, so a category you just turned off won't go out.
Want fewer emails but don't want to miss anything important? Leave Onboarding and Engagement on while you're getting set up, then trim the rest once you're comfortable. Essential account and billing emails always reach you regardless.
Unsubscribing
You have two ways to unsubscribe:
- One-click unsubscribe — most email apps (Gmail, Apple Mail, Outlook) show an Unsubscribe button at the top of Krafon emails. One tap opts you out of that type of email.
- Unsubscribe link — the link in the email footer opts you out and shows a confirmation. You can re-subscribe from the same screen if you change your mind.
Opt out of all marketing email
On the Email preferences page there's a master switch: Unsubscribe from ALL marketing emails. Turn it on to stop product, engagement, billing-promotion, social-proof, feedback, and growth emails in one step.
Even after unsubscribing from everything, you'll still receive essential account and billing emails (receipts, security alerts, sign-in links, and operational notices). These can't be switched off while your account is active.
Email digests
If you'd rather get a periodic summary than individual updates, opt in to the Email digest from Preferences (/<workspace>/settings/preferences). The digest rolls your recent activity and performance into a single email. See Settings → Preferences.
Common issues
Problem: I unsubscribed but still get emails. Solution: You'll continue to receive essential emails (receipts, security, sign-in links, operational notices) — these aren't opt-outable. If you're getting marketing email after unsubscribing, open the Email preferences page and confirm Unsubscribe from ALL marketing emails is ticked, then save.
Problem: The preferences or unsubscribe link says "Link expired or invalid." Solution: Open a more recent Krafon email and use its link instead. Each email carries a personal link; very old links can stop working.
Problem: I'm not receiving any Krafon emails. Solution: Check your spam/junk folder and add Krafon's sending address to your contacts. If sign-in or receipt emails still don't arrive, see Common errors or contact support.
FAQ
Can I turn off security and billing emails? No. Essential emails — receipts, security alerts, sign-in links, and operational notices — always send while your account is active.
Do my email choices affect my teammates? No. Email preferences are personal to you. Each person on the workspace manages their own.
What's the difference between Notifications and emails? The Notifications center handles in-app alerts inside your workspace. Email preferences (this page) control what Krafon sends to your inbox.
How quickly do preference changes take effect? Immediately. Krafon checks your latest preferences right before sending, so an unticked category won't go out — even for an email that was already queued.
